What possibly makes Yahiro a protagonist? Nothing

Hello Guilty Crown Fans, I am Magic-Name-09, and I am glad to join this neat discussion.

I have read the rules of the Fandom, and I am ready to meet other fans of this wiki.

I have a few questions that are on my mind right now, and they have been bugging me since I have seen all of Guilty Crown.

Here are the questions:

1) Why didn't Kill-em-all-Daryl die at the end of Guilty Crown, when he deserved to die for all the crimes he committed?

2) Why did that idiot say that Daryl is worth saving, let alone is worth being Do-Good-Daryl?

3) Why didn't Arisa Kuhouin die at the end of Guilty Crown, when she deserved to die for serving Lord Gai?

4) Why didn't the rest of the soldiers just gun down Arisa Kuhouin when she lost her power?

And,

5) Was Arisa Kuhouin just as Pure Evil like Kill-em-all-Daryl was since the start of Guilty Crown?

These questions have been grinding at the back of my mind for quite some time now, and I cannot answer them since I need Fan Feedback to help me out these issues to bed once and for all.

Can Guilty Crown Fans help me out here?

Hey, I know it's been ages since this anime came out, but I'm still confused about Gai's role. I thought he was a protagonist trying to stop Mana's cancer from ending the world and to stop the GHQ? Why does he then betray Shuu after his resurrection and begin to help the GHQ? If this is obvious, I'm very sorry. I tend to miss a lot of details when I watch anime lol
