|synopsis= Shu is shocked that Inori has not only transferred to his school but is living at his home as well. Gai explains that he sent Inori to protect Shu because a student at his school is secretly a drug dealer nicknamed Sugar who saw him during Funeral Parlor's battle with the GHQ at Roppongi. He also confirms Shu's suspicions that Gai can see other people's Voids.

Because Gai recognized Sugar's Void as pair of large shears but could not see his identity otherwise, Shu has to confront his fellow classmates one by one and take out their Voids to check for the shears. After several failures and an escape from the wrath of class representative Kanon Kusama, Shu figures out that Sugar is actually his friend Yahiro Samugawa, who knows a lot of things he shouldn't and has a taste for horror films.

His identity exposed, Yahiro angrily shows his true self before Shu subdues him by pulling out his Void. Inori tries to kill Yahiro, but Shu stops her because Yahiro is still his friend. He and Yahiro resolve their difference and agree not to reveal each other's secrets. The next day, Yahiro betrays Shu by selling him out to Major Makoto Waltz Segai of the GHQ.
